The Carthage College women's tennis team (10-6, 4-2 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) defeated Carroll University (Wis., 14-6), 7-2, on Sunday, April 21 at the Smeds Tennis Center in Kenosha, Wis.
 
Bari Reynolds (Jr., Sterling, Ill., 16-10) defeated the Pioneers' Abigail Pellet, 6-3, 6-2, at No. 1 singles.  Haleigh McPeek (So., Lake Bluff, Ill./Lake Forest, 18-6) won over Carroll's Kate Rasmussen at No. 2 singles, 6-2, 6-1.   Erin Henrickson (So., Darien, Ill./Hinsdale-South, 10-11) lost at No. 3 singles.  Abbi Howell (So., Minneapolis, Minn./Southwest, 13-9) was a winner at No. 4 singles.  Kelsey Bowen (Jr., Beach Park, Ill./Zion-Benton Township, 5-3) lost at No. 5 singles, but Holly Weber (Jr., Salem, Wis./Westosha Central, 14-4) won at No. 6 singles.
 
Carthage's No.1 doubles team of Reynolds and McPeek (18-4) won over Carroll, as did the No. 2 team of Henrickson and Howell (16-8) and the No. 3 tandem of Weber and Kirsten Peterson (Fr., Hastings, Minn., 6-6). 

Carthage plays host to No. 26 Wisconsin-Whitewater (16-8) on Wednesday, April 24 in a 3 p.m. match at the Smeds Tennis Center.
