Red Men Play Host to Concordia (Wis.) on Tuesday

Box Score The Carthage College men's lacrosse team (12-2, 7-0 Midwest Lacrosse Conference) remains undefeated in Midwest Lacrosse Conference play after defeating the College of Mount St. Joseph (8-7, 5-3 MLC), 21-3, on Sunday, April 21 at Art Keller Field in Kenosha, Wis.  Sunday's contest was a makeup from a postponed game on March 16. 

The Red Men led the Lions, 3-0, after the first period, 8-0, at halftime and 14-1 going into the fourth period.  Carthage is a half-game behind first-place Aurora University (10-3, 7-0 MLC) in the conference standings.
 
Mason Poage (Sr., Columbia, Mo./Hickman) led the Red Men with four goals and three assists.  Peter Slefinger (Sr., Wheaton, Ill./Wheaton-Warrenville South) scored four goals with two assists and a ground ball.  Danny Morse (Jr., O'Fallon, Ill./O'Fallon Township) had three goals, three assists and one ground ball, and Jared Ferrell (Fr., Trabuco Canyon, Calif./El Toro) had three goals and two ground balls.  Will McClanahan, Ryan Gallagher and Peter Thompson scored one goal each for Mount St. Joseph. 

Carthage plays host to conference-opponent Concordia University (Wis., 8-5, 5-2 MLC) on Tuesday, April 23 in a 7 p.m. game at Art Keller Field in Kenosha, Wis.  The Falcons contest is a makeup from a rain out on Wednesday, April 17.
