Box Score 2 The Carthage College women's lacrosse team (8-5, 3-1 Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference) won both ends of a rare NCAA Division III women's lacrosse doubleheader on Saturday, April 13 with a 19-0 win over Loras College (1-9) and a 19-1 decision over the University of Dubuque (0-9) at Art Keller Field in Kenosha, Wis. The two games were part of a Carthage lacrosse tripleheader and sandwiched around a men's game.
In the Loras win, Carthage led, 13-0, at halftime and out-scored Loras, 6-0, in the second period.
Lauren Chatham (Jr., Hartland, Wis./Arrowhead) led the Lady Reds with three goals, four assists and eight ground balls, while Andrea Wambaugh (Fr., Louisville, Ky./Kentucky Country Day) had three goals, an assist and five ground balls
Against Dubuque, Carthage led, 14-1, at halftime. Chatham had four goals and three assists, Meghan Welle (Fr., Goshen, Ky./North Oldham) four goals and one assist, and Wambaugh collected three goals, an assist and two ground balls.
Carthage plays host to conference-opponent Concordia University (Wis., 5-5, 3-2 MWLC) on Tuesday, April 16 in a 7 p.m. contest at Art Keller Field in Kenosha, Wis.
