Box Score The Carthage College women's lacrosse team (1-2, 0-0 Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference) defeated Birmingham-Southern College (2-5), 15-6, on Saturday afternoon, March 9 at Centre College's South Campus Athletic Complex in Danville, Ky.  The Lady Reds take on Centre on Sunday, March 10 at 11 a.m., EDT.
 
In the win over Birmingham-Southern, Sydney Whitaker (Jr., Bainbridge, Wash.) led the way with four goals.  Lauren Chatham (Jr., Hartland, Wis./Arrowhead) had three goals and two assists, Andrea Wambaugh (Fr., Louisville, Ky./Kentucky Country Day) two goals and three draw controls, Taylor Holleschau (So., Danville, Calif./Monte Vista) two goals and two draw controls, Hannah Bellenbaum (So., Lake Oswego, Ore.) two goals and Maya Varma (Jr., Burlingame, Calif.) four draw controls.  Goalkeeper Ali Gorman (Jr., Chesterfield, Mo./Parkway Central) collected 11 saves in 57 minutes of play.
