Box Score The Carthage College women's lacrosse team (0-1, 0-0 Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference) opened its 2013 season on Saturday, March 2 with an 11-6 loss to the University of Redlands (7-1) at the University of the South's Puett Field in Sewanee, Tenn. 

Redlands led, 6-2, at halftime and out-scored Carthage, 5-4, in the second period.  Stephanie Garrett led the Bulldogs with four goals.  Olivia Nino (Sr, Pleasanton, Calif./Foothill) scored three goals for the Lady Reds, with Natalie Ceis (Sr., Seattle, Wash./Seattle Prep) adding two goals.  Carthage plays the University of the South on Sunday, March 3 at 1 p.m.
