Box Score The Carthage College women's lacrosse team (1-3, 0-0 Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference) was edged by Centre College (4-2), 13-12, on Sunday, March 10 at the South Campus Athletic Complex in Danville, Ky. 

Carthage defeated Birmingham-Southern College (2-5), 15-6, on Saturday, March 9 also at Joe McDaniel Field.
 
In the loss to Centre, the Colonels led by a point at halftime, 6-5, and went up by three, 8-5, at 24:13 second period.  The Lady Reds tied the game, 10-10, at 6:29 on an unassisted goal by Natalie Ceis.  Centre came back with three unanswered goals to take 13-10 lead at 4:04, but Lauren Chatham scored twice in the final three minutes to narrow the final margin to one point, 13-12.
 
Meg Hawthorne led the Colonels with seven goals and six draw controls.  Lauren Chatham (Jr., Hartland, Wis./Arrowhead) scored five times for Carthage with one assist and three draw controls, while Natalie Ceis (Sr., Seattle, Wash./Seattle Prep) had two goals and an assist.  Carthage plays host to the College of Wooster on Friday, March 22 in a 5:30 p.m. game at Art Keller Field in Kenosha, Wis.
