The Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference coaches picked Augustana College (Ill., 7 first-place votes) to win the 2013 conference championship, followed by Carthage College, 1 first-place vote) second, North Central College third, the College of Mount St. Joseph fourth, Concordia University (Wis.) fifth, Fontbonne University sixth, Aurora University seventh, Beloit College eighth and Benedictine University (Ill.) ninth.

Carthage opens its 2013 season with a Saturday-Sunday, March 2-3 trip to the University of the South in Sewanee, Tenn.  Carthage plays the University of Redlands on Saturday, March 2 in a 2:30 p.m. game at the Sewanee Intramural Field.  On Sunday, March 3, the Lady Reds take on the University of the South at 1 p.m.
