The Midwest Lacrosse Conference coaches picked Aurora University (10 first-place votes) to win the 2013 league title, followed by Concordia University (Wis.) second, Carthage College third, the College of Mount St. Joseph fourth, Augustana College (Ill., 1 first-place vote) fifth, Fontbonne University sixth, Hanover College seventh, Benedictine University (Ill.) eighth, Elmhurst College ninth, Defiance College 10th and the Milwaukee School of Engineering 11th.

Carthage opens its 2013 season on Saturday-Sunday, Feb. 9-10 with a pair of indoor games at the Ultimate Soccer Arena in Pontiac, Mich.  Carthage plays Calvin College on Saturday, Feb. 9 at 1 p.m., EST and Albion College on Sunday, Feb. 10, also at 1 p.m., EST.
