The Carthage College women's tennis team (13-6, 5-1 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) shut out Lake Forest College (5-12), 9-0, on Sunday, April 22 in Lake Forest, Ill. 

Carthage's Hollis McPeek (Sr., Lake Bluff, Ill./Lake Forest, 13-10) defeated the Forester's Aimee Fadden at No. 1 singles, 6-1, 6-0.  Bari Reynolds (So., Sterling, Ill., 20-6) won over the Gracie Mullins, 7-5, 6-3, at No. 2 singles.  Haleigh McPeek (Fr., Lake Bluff, Ill./Lake Forest, 6-3) was a winner at No. 3 singles, as was Erin Henrickson (Fr., Darien, Ill./Hinsdale South, 9-15) at No. 4 singles and Amanda Bizub (Sr., Hartland, Wis./Arrowhead, 11-7) at No. 5 singles.  Carthage's No. 1 doubles team of McPeek and McPeek (8-1) defeated Fadden and Mullins, 8-4.  The Lady Reds' No. 2 team of Reynolds and Naidicz (4-5) was also a winner. 

Carthage concludes its regular-season schedule on Sunday, April 29 by playing host to a double-dual match at the Smeds Tennis Center in Kenosha, Wis.  The Lady Reds take on Wisconsin-La Crosse at 9 a.m. and Edgewood College at 3 p.m.
