The Carthage College women's lacrosse team (9-4, 3-1 Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference) lost to conference-opponent Adrian College (13-2, 5-0 MWLC), 20-12, on Saturday, April 21 at the Multisport Performance Stadium in Adrian, Mich. 

The Lady Reds stayed with the Bulldogs for half.  Carthage trailed by just two points, 7-5, with 8:14 to play in the first period and were only down by three at halftime, 9-6.  Adrian scored 11 of the next 14 goals to win by eight, 20-12.  Olivia Duncan led the Bulldogs with six goals, two assists and three ground balls, while Amanda Lambert totaled five goals, three assists and seven ground balls.  Lauren Chatham (Jr., Hartland, Wis./Arrowhead) led the Lady Reds with four goals and three ground balls.  Hannah Sopeth (Sr., Lakeville, Minn./North) and Taylor Holleschau (Fr., Danville, Calif./Monte Vista) had two goals each. 

Carthage plays host to conference-opponent Trine University (3-5, 3-2 MWLC) on Saturday, April 28 in a 3 p.m. game at Art Keller Field in Kenosha, Wis.
