Men's Lacrosse Snaps a Three-Game Losing Streak with a 12-6 Win at Albion on April 21

The Carthage College men's lacrosse team (8-5, 4-4 Midwest Men's Lacrosse Conference) snapped a three-game losing streak on Saturday, April 21 with a 12-6 win over conference-opponent Albion College (6-9, 2-6 MMLC) at Sprankle-Sprandel Stadium in Albion, Mich. 

Albion led, 3-1, after the first period and 4-2 at halftime, but the Red Men took a 7-6 lead after the third period.  Carthage blanked Albion, 5-0, in the final period.  Seth Molek (Jr., Oak Park, Ill./Oak Park-River Forest) led the Red Men with four goals, three assists and three ground balls.  Keegan Bowman (Sr., New Westminster, British Columbia/New Westminster Secondary) had four goals, two assists and a ground ball.  Tyler Kilpatrick paced the Britons with three goals. 

Carthage journeys on to Alma, Mich., on Sunday, April 22 for a 1 p.m., EDT contest against non-conference opponent Alma College (4-8) at Bahlke Field.
