The Carthage College women's lacrosse team (8-3, 3-0 Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference) upended conference-opponent Concordia University (Wis. 2-9, 1-2 MWLC), 17-1, on Wednesday, April 18 at Fitting Field in Mequon, Wis. 

The Lady Reds led the Falcons, 11-1, at halftime and scored six unanswered goals to open the second period.  Sydney Whitaker (So., Bainbridge, Wash.) led the way with five goals and an assist.  Hannah Sopeth (Sr., Lakeville, Minn./North) had three goals, three assists, three caused turnovers and a ground ball.  Anna Schweiss (So., Parker, Colo./Chaparral) had three goals, one assist and two ground balls, while Natalie Ceis (Jr., Seattle, Wash./Seattle Prep) added two goals and four assists.  Marie Melton scored Concordia's lone goal. 

On Friday, April 20, the Lady Reds travel to Olivet, Mich., to take on Olivet College (2-12) in a 4:30 p.m., EDT contest at the Olivet Soccer Field.
