The Carthage College women's lacrosse team (7-3, 2-0 Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference) defeated conference-opponent North Central College (3-7, 1-1 MWLC), 14-7, on Wednesday, April 11 at Art Keller Field in Kenosha, Wis. 

The Lady Reds led the Cardinals, 6-4, at halftime and scored six unanswered goals to open the second period.  Hannah Sopeth (Sr., Lakeville, Minn./North) led the Carthage attack with three goals and three ground balls.  Natalie Ceis (Jr., Seattle, Wash./Seattle Prep) and Desirae Murphy (Jr., Savage, Minn./Burnsville) had two goals, an assist and two ground balls each, with Olivia Nino (Jr., Pleasanton, Calif./Foothill) and Sydney Whitaker (So., Bainbridge, Wash.) adding two goals each.  Lauren Chatham (Jr., Hartland, Wis./Arrowhead) totaled nine ground balls.  Danielle Fiala led North Central with three goals. 

The Lady Reds travel to Mequon, Wis., on Wednesday, April 18 to play conference-opponent Concordia University (Wis., 2-8, 1-1 MWLC) in a 5 p.m. game at the Falcon Soccer/Lacrosse Field.
