The Carthage College men's lacrosse team (5-2, 1-1 Midwest Men's Lacrosse Conference) closed out a four-game spring trip on Sunday, March 25 with an 11-9 loss to conference-opponent the College of Mount St. Joseph (3-5, 1-1 MMLC) at Schueler Field in Cincinnati, Ohio. 

Mount St. Joseph led, 2-1, after the first period, 6-4 at halftime and 8-7 after three periods.  The Red Men tied the game, 9-9, with 11:26 to play on a goal by Danny Morse, but the Lions scored twice in the final four minutes of play.  Anderson Morgan led Mount St. Joseph with four goals and three assists, while Mike Murphy scored three goals and Chris Uselmann collected seven ground balls. 

Danny Morse (So., O'Fallon, Ill./O'Fallon Township) paced the Red Men with three goals and an assist, while Keegan Bowman (Sr., New Westminster, British Columbia/New Westminster Secondary) added three goals. With a goal and two assists, Carthage's Cory Childs (Sr., Savage, Minn./Prior Lake) passed the 200-point and currently stands at 201 total points. 

Carthage travels to St. Louis, Mo., on Saturday, March 31 to play a 1 p.m. conference game versus Fontbonne University at Gay Field.
