Red Men's Keegna Bowman Sets a Pair of Carthage Scoring Records and Joins the 200 Club

The Carthage College men's lacrosse team (3-1, 0-0 Midwest Men's Lacrosse Conference) opened a four-game spring trip on Wednesday, March 21 by defeating Berry College (2-6), 19-7, at the Ford Soccer/Lacrosse Field in Rome, Ga.  Carthage led, 7-1, after the first period , 11-5 at halftime and 18-5 after the third period. 

Keegan Bowman (Sr., New Westminster, British Columbia/New Westminster Secondary) led the Red Men with a Carthage-record eight goals, along with three assists.  Bowman also tied his own Red Men game record with 10 shots on goal.  With 11 points, Bowman passed the 200-point mark with a Carthage career-best 209 total points.   

Cory Childs (Jr., Savage, Minn./Prior Lake) had four goals and one assist, while Seth Molek (Jr., Oak Park, Ill./Oak Park-River Forest) added a goal with five assists.  On Thursday, March 22, the Red Men take on Piedmont College in a 7:30 p.m., EDT contest at the Walker Athletic Field in Demorest, Ga.
