Box Score Colorado College 15, Carthage 3

The Carthage College women's lacrosse team (3-2, 0-0 Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference) opened a two-game spring trip to Colorado on Monday, March 19 with a 15-3 loss to Colorado College (5-0) at Stewart Field in Colorado Springs, Colo.  Carthage fell behind, 6-3, at halftime, and the Tigers blanked the Lady Reds, 9-0, in the second period.  Grace Maloney led Colorado College with three goals and an assist, while Hannah Sopeth (Sr., Lakeville, Minn./North) scored two of Carthage's three goals.  On Wednesday, March 21, the Lady Reds take on Mount Holyoke College (3-1), also at Stewart Field and also at 4 p.m., MDT.
