Two former Carthage athletes will be marking the 25th anniversary of their senior seasons in unusual fashion during Carthage's 2011 Homecoming. Tracy Pellet '87, and Heidi (Henschel) Pellett, '87, will be watching their daughter play collegiate tennis at Carthage's Smeds Tennis Center.
Tracy played football at Carthage between 1983 and 1986 and captained the 1986 team, while Heidi was inducted into the Carthage Athletic Hall of Fame in 1987 after an illustrious four-year career with the 1983-86 Lady Reds tennis teams.
The Pellets' daughter, Abigail, (Fr., Ellensburg, Wash.), is the No. 1 singles player on the Carroll University tennis team. The Pioneers are playing the Lady Reds in a Carthage Homecoming tennis match on Saturday, Oct. 1 at the Smeds Tennis Center, on the 25th anniversary of Abigail's parents' senior seasons.
