The Carthage College women's tennis team (7-5, 4-2 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) lost to the College of St. Scholastica (7-3), 5-4, on Tuesday, March 15 in Orlando, Fla. 

Hollis McPeek (So., Lake Bluff, Ill./Lake Forest, 9-8) defeated St. Scholastica's Callee Conda at No. 1 singles, 6-3, 2-6, 11-9, and Bari Reynolds (Fr., Sterling, Ill., 13-8) won over Milly Che Leon, 6-2, 6-3, at No. 2 singles.  Kristina Naidicz (Jr., Kenosha, Wis./Tremper, 11-5) lost at No. 3 singles, as did Kelsey Bowen (Fr., Beach Park, Ill./Zion-Benton Township, 4-10) at No. 4 singles and Holly Weber (Fr., Salem, Wis./Westosha Central, 3-10) at No. 5 singles. Amanda Bizub (Jr., Hartland, Wis./Arrowhead, 10-5) was a winner at No. 6 singles. 

Carthage's No. 1 doubles team of McPeek and Naidicz (14-5) won over the St. Scholastica.  The Lady Reds' No. 2 team of Reynolds and Bizub (6-6) fell to the Saints, as did the No. 3 tandem of Bowen and Kaitlyn Farrell (Sr., Ottawa, Ill./Ottawa Township, 0-2).  Carthage takes on St. Lawrence University on Thursday, March 17 (Noon, EDT) and Principia College on Friday. March 18 (9 a.m., EDT).
