The Carthage College men's lacrosse team (3-0, 0-0 Midwest Men's Lacrosse Conference) defeated Hendrix College (1-1), 13-9, on Sunday, Feb. 27 at Warrior Field in Conway, Ark. 

Carthage led, 6-4, at halftime and 11-7 after the third period. The Red Men out-shot the Warriors, 32-24. Cory Childs (Sr., Savage, Minn./Prior Lake) led the way with five goals and an assist. Keegan Bowman (Jr., New Westminster, British Columbia/New Westminster Secondary) had two goals with three assists, and Peter Slefinger (So., Wheaton, Ill./Wheaton-Warrenville South) had two goals and an assist. 

The Red Men travel to Memphis, Tenn., on Saturday, March 5 to play Millsaps College in a 1 p.m. game at Christian Brothers High School.
