The Carthage College men's lacrosse team (6-2, 2-1 Midwest Lacrosse Conference) was edged by Midwest Lacrosse Conference-opponent the College of Mount St. Joseph (3-8, 3-1 MLC), 11-10 in overtime, on Saturday, April 10 at Schueler Field in Cincinnati, Ohio. 

Carthage had a 5-4 lead after two period and led, 7-6, after the third period. The Lions scored four times in the fourth regulation period to force overtime, and Will McClanahan scored at the 2:19 mark in overtime to give Mount St. Joseph the victory. The Lions out-shot the Red Men, 41-27 and had a 16-8 edge in ground balls. McClanahan led Mount St. Joseph with four goals, while Chris Uselmann had three goals and an assist. Peter Slefinger, Keegan Bowman, Alex Rearick and Chris Kochajkiewicz had two goals apiece for Carthage. The Red Men remain in Ohio on Sunday, April 10 to take on Otterbein College (3-5) in a 2 p.m., EDT game at Memorial Stadium in Westerville, Ohio.
