KENOSHA, Wis. — The Carthage College women's soccer team battled back from a second-half deficit to earn a 2-2 draw against Millikin University on Saturday afternoon at Art Keller Field. The Firebirds took an early lead before Millikin answered twice, but Carthage found the equalizer in the 84th minute to secure the draw.

• Carthage created an early opportunity when Peyton Olinski put a shot on goal in the fifth minute.
• The Firebirds broke through in the 31st minute when Olinski scored off an assist from Jaydenn Kramer, giving Carthage a 1-0 lead.
• Millikin answered just under three minutes later when Hannah Daly scored off an assist from Caty Schmidt to tie the match at 1-1.
• The teams entered halftime tied after Carthage recorded nine first-half shots and Millikin registered four.
• Millikin took its first lead of the afternoon in the 65th minute when Izzy Jones found the back of the net to make it 2-1.
• Carthage continued to pressure the Big Blue, earning several corner kicks and creating multiple scoring opportunities throughout the second half.
• The Firebirds leveled the match in the 85th minute when Eve Hockerman scored off an assist from Olinski, making it 2-2.
• Carthage finished with a 21-8 advantage in shots and held a 12-5 edge in corner kicks. Vickie Engel made three saves in goal.
