KENOSHA, Wis. – The Carthage College men's and women's volleyball programs were recognized by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) for their success in the classroom, as the the women's squad made the honor roll and the men's squad were knowledge with a team academic award.
To qualify for the AVCA Team Academic Award, programs must maintain a year-long team grade-point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale. The Team Academic Honor Roll recognizes programs that rank among the top 20 percent of team GPAs within their respective collegiate divisions.
The AVCA recognized 1,432 collegiate and high school volleyball programs with the 2026 Team Academic Award, highlighting the continued commitment of student-athletes and coaches to academic excellence.
