KENOSHA, Wis. – The Carthage College Athletic Communications staff earned 32 awards in the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Creative & Digital Design Contest, highlighted by senior graphic designer and student worker Kaitlyn Jerbi, who collected a department-best 18 recognitions.
The awards were announced during CSC Unite, the organization's annual convention, with portfolio winners and finalists recognized among the nation's top creative professionals and student designers.
Jerbi's outstanding year was highlighted by a third-place finish in the Design Portfolio Best Of Division III category. She also captured first-place honors for her "FB vs WashU GD" game day graphic in the College, Division III, and Student Worker categories.
In recruiting materials, Jerbi earned four total honors, including a runner-up finish in Division III and the Student Worker categories for her football commitment graphic. She also placed third in Division III for her "FB Good Luck" recruiting design and earned multiple recognitions in the Special Projects category, including a fourth-place Division III finish for her National Girls and Women in Sports Day graphic.
"Kaitlyn has been an incredible leader and creative force for our department," said Carthage Director of Athletic Communications
Sam Boyle. "To see her work recognized on a national stage is a testament to the countless hours she puts into telling the stories of our student-athletes. She consistently pushes herself creatively and has helped elevate the entire student staff."
Katie Boston also enjoyed a banner year, earning Best of Interns first-place honors for her Photography Portfolio. Boston added a first-place finish in the Interns Game Day Graphics category for her men's volleyball graphic against Springfield and a second-place finish for her men's volleyball graphic against Southern Virginia.
Justin Corrigan secured eight awards across multiple categories, highlighted by first-place honors in both the College and Division III Recruiting Materials categories for his women's lacrosse commitment graphic. Corrigan also earned recognitions in Game Day Graphics, Individual Awards, and Major Awards/Championships.
Kayleigh Wieska earned a fifth-place finish in the Best Of Student Workers Photography Portfolio category, while Joseff Rojas received recognition in the Division III Game Day Graphics category for his women's soccer graphic against Elmhurst.
Overall, Carthage student designers and photographers were recognized across a wide range of categories, including portfolios, game day graphics, recruiting materials, individual awards, special projects, and championship graphics.
"Our student workers continue to set the standard for creativity and innovation," Boyle said. "These awards are especially meaningful because they reflect not only artistic talent, but the passion our students have for serving Carthage Athletics. I'm incredibly proud of the entire team and grateful for the impact they make every day."
