Coachs Remarks

"I am proud of the guys. We keep falling short in these losses, but the fight is always there. We have been close all year, just not able to put them away. The 4/0 penalties were rough, but our defense held on those against a good man up. Gave up too many goals in early offense, especially their inside guys, which is hard to prep and replicate, but needed to do better there. We just never found a rhythm on offense. They were ready for our looks, and I just need to put our guys in a better position than I did today. All four of these losses were winnable games; they just need to find a way to get over the last hurdle."

Team Results
  • The Firebirds return home for Senior Day on Friday, April 18 at 7 p.m. against Carroll (Wis.).
