GREENWOOD— Carthage College men's basketball student-athlete AJ Williams has been named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday.

Williams, a junior from Chicago, Illinois, started all 28 games for the Firebirds during the 2024-25 season. He averaged 9.1 points per game, recorded 41 assists and grabbed 109 rebounds. Williams notched a season-high 17 points against Ripon and pulled down a season-best eight rebounds against Elmhurst.

The 2024-25 Academic All-District® men's basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
