Coachs Remarks
"I am really proud of this group. We struggled a bit in set three with errors but we came back in set foru ready to play. With a young group it is nice to see us respond to adversity with confidence and aggression. When we play our style we are really tough to beat. Our ability to put pressure on other teams with our defensive effort and attacking range has been elite this year. I felt like when we found our style, we were in control of the match.

Owen Hendricks started the match with some elite offense and serving pressure. He held on to that all match. Zack Noland and Ryan Cholewinski were elite defenders today and made it really difficult on Dominicans offense. Ben Heise cleaned up the out of system game so well for us with big kills in big moments.

We have been working on our resilience and consistency all year. While we dipped our level in set three, I am proud of the relentless mental focus this group had to respond to a tough set loss.

Another thing that is massive for us is our offensive distribution is getting more even. I thought Ryan Morey did a great job with that. Ryan Cholewinski and Hudson Sweitzer took advantage of the space Dominican left today to score. That opened up our Bic to be elite with both Owen Hendricks and Owen Otto."
