NAPERVILLE - Ainsley Stallworth of the Carthage women's soccer team was named Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week for the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW), the conference announced Tuesday.

Stallworth, a senior from Fresno, California, started both games this past week, helping lead the Firebirds to a shutout victory over North Park on Wednesday evening with seven saves. The win secured hosting rights for Saturday's quarterfinals of the 2025 CCIW Women's Soccer Tournament. In the matchup against Elmhurst on Saturday, Stallworth allowed just one goal and added four more saves, finishing the week with 11 total stops in net.
