Damon Claims CCIW Defensive Student-Athlete of the Year Honors; Firebirds Earn All-CCIW Recognition

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) announced the 2025 Women's Volleyball Postseason Awards on Monday afternoon. The Firebirds had four student-athletes receive recognitions in this season's awards, with senior Jenna Damon leading the way earning the CCIW Defensive Student-Athlete of the Year Award.

JENNA DAMON | LIBERO | CCIW DEFENSIVE STUDENT-ATHLETE OF THE YEAR | FIRST TEAM ALL-CCIW

Damon, a native of Durand, Ill., leads the CCIW in total digs this season with 535 and is second in digs per set at 4.57. Damon also ranks fourth in the conference in service aces with 50 on the year.

KRISTINA MANOJLOVIC | OUTSIDE HITTER | FIRST TEAM ALL-CCIW

Kristina Manojlovic, a junior from Skokie, Ill., led the CCIW in total points (513.5), total kills (460), and total attacks (1,255). Manojlovic also ranks second in kills per set (3.83), points per set (4.28), and attacks per set (10.46). Manojlovic's 460 kills also ranks third at the NCAA Division III level.

AVA DETTWILER | SETTER/RIGHT SIDE | SECOND TEAM ALL-CCIW

Ava Dettwiler, a sophomore from La Crosse, Wis., ranks fifth in assists (653) in the CCIW, as well as eighth in assists per set (5.44) and eighth in points (330). Dettwiler also leads the conference in triple doubles this season with 5.

MADILYN DANIELSON | OUTSIDE HITTER/DEFENSIVE SPECIALIST | CCIW RESPECT AWARD

Madilyn Danielson has been named the recipient of the CCIW RESPECT Award. At the conclusion of every sport's season, each varsity program will recognize one student-athlete as their RESPECT Award honoree. RESPECT Award recipients have distinguished themselves as an integral member of the team, their institution, and community by upholding the values of Responsibility, Enthusiasm, Service, Pride, Excellence, Collaboration, and Trust. The RESPECT Award recognizes the intangible traits a student-athlete possesses that exemplify great character and encourage inclusiveness and a positive culture.
