NAPERVILLE - The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) announced its Men's Swimming and Diving Student-Athletes of the Week. Taydin Murphy of the Carthage Men's Swimming and Diving team was named Men's Diving Student-Athlete of the Week for the CCIW, the conference announced Wednesday. 

Murphy, a sophomore from Minooka, Ill., competed in the one-meter and three dives over the opening weekend of the 2025-26 season for the swim and dive team. On Friday, Murphy won the 3-meter dive with a score of 216.90 and placed second on the 1-meter board against UW-Whitewater. On Saturday, at the Wisconsin Showcase, Murphy earned podium finishes on both boards—placing 3rd on 1-meter (234.68) and 2nd on 3-meter (232.28).
