KENOSHA - The Carthage women's soccer team hosted the Bethel Royals in the last match of the Battle at the Border. Bethel took the lead in the Firebirds' 8th minute, making the score 1-0. In the 39th minute, Bethel scored 2-0, pushing their lead to close the first half. The Firebirds tried to close on the lead from the Royals with a goal in the 65th minute. The Bethel Royals held off the Firebirds to win, 2-1.
