  • A kill from Ava Dettwiler made it 22-11 as Carthage claimed the set 25-11. Another ace from Stahl put Carthage up 10-6 in the final set, and a kill from Katie Boston and an ace from Kebisek pushed the lead further.

Coachs Remarks
"We saw three really different teams this weekend. Against Concordia, we served very well and played well offensively, with many players contributing. Devinn Bell and Tatum Kebisek ran the offense, and Liv Carel, Kaitie Rohe, Tina Manojlovic, and Katie Boston were all effective at the net. UWSP is a very good, experienced team with some big-time hitters. In the first set, we earned 19 kills and held tough to get a 30-28 victory. Madi Danielson came off the bench late and made some stellar plays to help seal the first-set victory. We started slow in set 2 and struggled to stop them offensively. We struggled to find the ball control and aggressive hitting that helped us win the first set. Jenna Damon recorded her 1000th dig, and freshman Macy Wente had a very good night with 10 kills and only 1 error. Liv Carel and Kaitie Rohe led us on offense. It was not the outcome we were looking for, but the goal is to play tough opponents to sharpen us for conference matches. Today, we competed well and weathered some ups and downs to come out on top against River Falls. Tina Manojlovic led us with 19 kills, followed by Kaitie Rohe. Jenna Damon continues to excel and lead us on defense. Next up is a big home CCIW match against North Central on Wednesday."
