Coachs Remarks
"It was great to start the season! Two pretty efficient matches on Friday, followed by a five-set win on Saturday morning! We had a lot of people contribute offensively. Kaitie Rohe and Kristina Manojlovic were very impressive from the OH position. Against Dubuque, they each had 18 kills and hit over 300. Devinn Bell and Freshman Setter/ RS Ava Dettwiler did an excellent job on Friday distributing the ball, with Ava also hitting. Tatum Kebisek stepped up in the Dubuque match to help run the offense. Liv Carel had big days on offense both days. Jenna Damon is an elite libero, and she showed that all weekend. Katie Boston came up big out of the middle, hitting and blocking. It was a great team effort. We have to keep getting better at every practice, but there were a lot of positives from the weekend."

Team Results
  • The Firebirds have their home opener against UChicago on Wednesday, September 4, at 7 p.m.
