Coach's Remarks

"A phenomenal team win," said Head Coach Rebecca Congel. "I am so proud of every single athlete on this team and how they came together from a deficit in the last few minutes of the game to send us into overtime and finish the job in the final minutes. Our draw was very integral today to the success of the team. Piper LeFevre did a great job on the draw, as well as Hannah Kim and Kylie [Higgins]. They came up in a lot of big ways for us there. Defensively, we had really strong leadership with Sydney Kuyava down there and Alessandra Almendarez came up with some really big saves in the last few minutes. On the attack, Augie [Claridge] really stepped up and put seven goals away with one assist, a huge day for her and for her to put it away in overtime was really the cherry on top. I'm super proud of the girls and looking forward to our next competition against Lake Forest."
