Coachs Remarks

"I'm so proud of the team tonight. We had freshmen step into starting roles that haven't been playing. We just played the leading scorer in the NCAA and held him to four points, which was a great effort out of Diego Smilanich in that match. Four of our six offensive starters were out tonight, and the two that played had one of the best two-man performances I have seen in my sixteen years here. Ben Krok and George Burchfield willed this team to victory tonight and George may have just played the best game in Carthage history. It was fun to watch. I am just so proud of the team with all the setbacks and detours we have had so far this year."
