Coach's Remarks

"It feels good to go into the holiday break with a win," said Head Coach Megan Jones. "It wasn't the cleanest game, with a lot of fouls called. But I was proud of how patient we were offensively against their zone. We haven't seen much zone yet this season and we prepared for it this week and I thought we executed well. A big credit to our players who played the scout team and simulated a 2-3 zone for us in practice. That preparation led to confidence in finding the holes in the zone tonight. It takes every single member of our team to be at our best in practice and games. We'll get a quick break here for Thanksgiving and get focused on preparing for MSOE on Saturday."
