KENOSHA – Ian Wilson has stepped down as Head Women's Soccer Coach after seven seasons.
During his tenure, Coach Wilson led the Firebirds to a 29-51-21 overall record and 8-19-21 in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin play.
"We are incredibly grateful to Ian for his dedication, leadership, and the positive impact he's had on Carthage athletics and our women's soccer program," said Athletic Director Ryan Kane. "Transitions like these can be challenging but we fully support his decision and wish him all the best in his future endeavors."
Wilson, who joined Carthage College in 2018, led the program through several milestones, including five CCIW All-Conference selections and an appearance in the 2022 CCIW Tournament. Most recently, in 2024, the Firebirds earned a No. 7 ranking in the United Soccer Coaches Region VIII poll during its first three weeks—a notable first under Wilson's leadership.
A national search to identify the next head coach for the women's soccer program is underway.
