BLOOMINGTON -Â The Carthage men's soccer team hit the road on Saturday to take on the Illinois Wesleyan Titans. After a hot start for the Carthage offense, the Titans mounted a late comeback to steal a win away from the visiting Firebirds. Mickey Reilly scored his 46th career goal and his 30th career assist. Reilly's 46th goal broke the Carthage career goals record, which was previously 45 goals, set by Bart Pryputniewicz in 1998. Reilly also broke the career points scored record with 122 points, passing the previous record of 120 points scored by Mike Domin in 1997.

- In the 36th minute, the Firebirds opened the scoring with an unassisted goal by Christian Hinestrosa.Â
- The Firebirds opened the second half by making the score 2-0 with a goal by Aidan Crowder, assisted by Reilly.Â
- The Firebirds extended their lead in the 51st minute with a goal by Yumange and assisted by Crowder.Â
- In the 64th minute, the Titans forced the score to 3-1
- The Titans scored their second goal of the game in the 69th minute.
- In the 74th minute, the Titans forced the game to a 3-3 tie.
- In the 75th minute, Illinois Wesleyan took the lead 4-3.Â
- The Firebirds forced the game to a tie with an unassisted, record-breaking goal in the 80th minute by Reilly.
- The Titans answered right back to take the lead in the 85th minute, which would go on to be the game winner.
"Mickey [Reilly] epitomizes Carthage Soccer," said Head Coach Paul Leese. "His attitude, work ethic, tenacity and humility are of the highest level and there is no one more deserving of this record. He has grown tremendously as a player during the past two years and I am excited to follow his career after college. It has been a pleasure to coach him and I will miss his energy and his humor greatly."

- Reilly and Crowder each scored their sixth goal of the season.
