ROCK ISLAND, Ill.- The Carthage women's soccer team traveled to face the Augustana (Ill.) Vikings on Saturday for a CCIW matchup. Despite a lot of offensive chances for both squads, the Firebirds return to Kenosha with a scoreless draw.

 

• Augustana controlled the offensive tempo in the first half, outshooting the Firebirds 7-5.
• Carthage flipped the script in the second half, outshooting the Vikings 11-3.
• Despite the high shot counts, neither team was able to find the back of the net to take the lead, causing the game to end in a 0-0 draw.

• Katie Talens led the Firebird with three shots on goal.
• Amelia Price took four shots in the match.
• Ainsley Stallworth made four saves in goal for the Firebirds.
