KENOSHA, Wis.- The Carthage women's soccer team played at Art Keller Field on Wednesday, October 4th, against the Carroll University Pioneers. The Pioneers jumped out to an early lead, but the Firebirds would capitalize on a late mistake by the Carroll defense to force the draw in full time.

 

•  Ally Scoma, scored the solo goal for the Pioneers at the 22:15 mark. Carroll held Carthage scoreless for the first half.
• At the 75:27 mark, Carroll scored an own goal off of a header in the box, placing Carthage even. 
• The final score was 1-1.

• Goalie Ainsley Stallworth acquired 9 saves throughout both halves. 
• Maya Stone took the lone shot on goal in the 87th minute.
