WHITEWATER, Wis.- The Carthage women's soccer team traveled to face the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Warhawks on Wednesday evening. After a scoreless first half, both offenses found their stride, and the Warhawks bested the Firebirds in regular time.

 

• Despite several attempts to score by the Firebirds offense, the two teams went into halftime scoreless.
• In the 64th minute, the Warhawks found the back of the net to break the scoreless tie.
• The insurance goal for the Warhawks came in the 87th minute.
• Kendall Hennelly got the Firebirds on the scoreboard in the 90th minute with an unassisted goal.

• Hennelly scored her first goal of the season.
• Ainsley Stallworth made her sixth appearance in goal this year, tallying four saves in the match.
