NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Less than one week after recording an excellent third-place team finish in Waukesha, the Carthage College women's track & field team put together another impressive showing - this time at North Central College's First Chance Invitational.
The team saw a number of student-athletes record personal bests, while the throws unit took 13 of the top 20 spots between two events (shot put and hammer throw).

"This was a competitive atmosphere for our student-athletes at the NCC First Chance Invite," noted Carthage Firebirds head women's track & field coach
Stephanie Domin.
"We had many lifetime PRs and season-bests. The team really rose to the challenge in each event."
"We are looking forward to next week with warmer temperatures at practice and at the Wheaton Invitational next weekend."
