KENOSHA, Wis. — In the regular-season home finale, the Carthage College men's lacrosse team picked up a 21-2 victory over Carroll (Wis.) Wednesday night.

Records: Carthage 11-4 (3-2 CCIW), Carroll (Wis.) 3-14 (0-6 CCIW)

Carthage started with a 4-0 score as the tandem of Michael Stell and George Burchfield traded goals in the first.
In the second, Carthage used a 6-1 run to go into halftime up 10-1.
The Firebirds continued the pressure with eight in the third, coming from Andrew Frey, Alec Gern, Colin Poitras, Andrew Johnson and Stell.
William McClure, Truett Wilson and Bryce Peake all scored in the fourth as the Firebirds won 21-2.

Colin Poitras rattled off five goals for the Firebirds on the day, marking the eighth time he has had five or more goals in a game this season.
Poitras eclipsed 200 career goals while Burchfield surpassed 100 career goals.
Michael Stell, George Burchfield, and Alec Gern tallied three goals, while Burchfield was the team's leader in assists with three.
First-year goalie Jake Williamson collected his fifth win of the season in goal, making four saves.
The Firebird offense registered 73 shots in the game, seventh-best in the program's team single-game record books.
