WHEATON, Ill. - After third and fourth-place finishes in Waukesha and Naperville, respectively, the Carthage Firebirds women's track & field team put together another impressive showing - this time taking third at the Wheaton Invitational.
Aubrey Schoeneman (discus) and
Alexis Mattox (hammer) both took first in their respective throws events to lead the throws unit, while a number of other throwers performed exceptionally as well.

Dora Dill placed third in the hammer, finishing less than a meter shy of second place behind Mattox.
