Coachs Remarks

"I told the guys today was about getting better, and I thought we figured out a lot of things. Albion is one of the best teams in our region and better than their record coming in, so we knew we had a tough game in front of us.

Gartner had a great game today in the pipes and gave us a chance to win, which is something we have been needing and looking for.

We have to continue to get better in some areas, though. There are a couple of things we have addressed individually and as a team, and by mid season, we need to correct those and learn from them. And still haven't yet done that.

We needed to be a little bit better in our shooting and finishing, that hurt us a bit today, and we have to play better defense when sliding to the ball. We also need to have a stronger game at the X.

Statistically, I look at this game, see turnovers, caused turnovers, etc., and think we won it by four or five goals. So we managed the game fairly well.

Overall, many more positives than negatives; we need to keep growing and getting better one game at a time."
