"The guys came out really well in the first quarter, and Concordia (Wis.) really had no answer for us in the first fifteen.
CUW settled in and played us hard the last 45, and we lost a little bit of our momentum and focus. Coach Fahey does a good job at CUW, and that team will be tough in their conference at the end of the year.
We need a better effort on ground balls, which hurt us the last three quarters, and we still need to find a way to finish more of our shots. It's always nice to get a road win against a quality opponent. I am proud of our guys; we still have much work to do."
- Carthage returns home taking on Elmhurst in their first conference match of the season on Saturday, April 1 starting at 1 p.m.
