KENOSHA, Wis. - The Firebirds women's track & field program spent its weekend split up in two cities for two different tune-up events. The throwers spent Saturday in Oshkosh for the UW-Oshkosh Titan Challenge, while the rest of the team stayed in Kenosha to compete in UW-Parkside's Parkside Classic on Friday. The two events served as tune-ups for the fastly-approaching CCIW Indoor Track & Field Championships.
Parkside Classic:

"We had a great tune-up meet at both UW-Parkside and UW-Oshkosh," said Carthage head women's track & field coach
Stephanie Domin.
"We got exactly what we needed at both competitions this weekend. The team is excited and ready for our conference meet next weekend - we will need a total team effort in order to achieve our goals, which we are all confident we can do!"
- A season's worth of hard work is put to the test, as the Firebirds are set to compete in the CCIW Indoor Track and Field Championship from Friday, February 24 through Saturday, February 25. The Championship will take place at Shirk Center Fieldhouse in Bloomington, Illinois.
