KENOSHA, Wis.- The Carthage women's soccer team hosted the Millikin Big Blue on Saturday evening at Art Keller Field. In a rainy match, the two teams battled hard for 90 minutes and ended in a scoreless draw.

 

• Millikin controlled the offensive tempo for much of the first half, taking 13 shots to the Firebirds three. Despite the high offensive numbers, both teams ended the half tied at 0-0.
• The second half proved to be more evenly fought, with the Big Blue out-shooting the Firebirds 7-6. Neither team found the back of the net and the match ended in a tie.

• Lisa Traxel led the Firebirds with three shot attempts.
• Ainsley Stallworth made seven saves in goal.
