CHICAGO, Ill.- The Carthage women's soccer team traveled to face the North Park Vikings on Wednesday evening. The Firebirds jumped out to an early lead, but the Vikings found a way to even the score in the second half before taking the lead and claiming the victory.

 

• Addie Saarenas gave the Firebirds an early lead in the 24th minute with a goal coming off of a corner kick from Lisa Traxel.
• The Vikings evened the score quickly coming out of the half with a goal in the 49th minute. 
• North Park scored the winning goal in the 89th minute to secure the win.

• Saarenas scored her first goal of the season.
• Traxel picked up her third assist of the year.
• Ainsley Stallworth earned nine saves in the contest.
