NAPERVILLE, Ill. - It was a successful trip down to Naperville for Carthage's women's track & field program, which saw four different student-athletes win their respective events and many others set personal bests; one of the four, sophomore
Abbey Calhoun, set a new program record in the triple jump by jumping 11.50 meters. Calhoun's mark bests Shacuána Gaines' 2009 mark of 11.38 meters.
Women's track and field has now finished in the top two in three out of its four meets this season, taking first at the Forever Red Alumni Classic and the Firebird First. Only the throwers competed at the UW-Oshkosh Titan Challenge in early December.
