"What a gutsy comeback and win tonight! Concordia (Wis.) is a very mature team, and they really challenged us tonight. We came out strong to win set one, then struggled out of the gate in set two and dug too deep a hole. Some of the same in set three then, with our subs out, the players on the court gutted out the fourth set. We carried the momentum into set five and didn't give them any points they had to earn them.
Liv Carel was our big hitter tonight. She is SO strong, and the setters have a lot of confidence in her. She is so competitive and fired the team up.
Kiley McCarthy did a nice job running the show at the end and went on a great service run. So fun to win in front of our crowd. Excited for the weekend!"
